These heel grounders have been designed and manufactured to the highest quality to ensure the operator is grounded when standing on suitable static-dissipative flooring. The conductive tag, when placed next to the skin, ensures good and reliable contact. This then gives good grounding.
The heel grounder is fully adjustable, with Velcro fastening, so they are suitable for all shoe shapes and sizes. Each strap is fitted with at least 1 Meg Ω resistor for operator safety They are manufactured from a hard-wearing, long-lasting rubber and are easy and comfortable to wear. It is recommended that two are used at all times to ensure complete ESD safety and uninterrupted operator grounding.
